Congratulations Pete!
Pete won a community award at the St Wilfred's Stars ceremony held at Ripon Cathedral! Pete received recognition for his fantastic contribution to community life in our city!

Today, Mrs Calland-Brooke led a worship at KS2 that encouraged us to think about having faith and
trust in God. We heard a bible story called 'The Storm On The Lake' and we talked about how we can put our trust and faith in God when times are tricky. Some of the children from Nidd class helped Mrs Calland-Brooke with her worship and did a great job of reminding us what trust is and what it is to be trustworthy!

At Holy Trinity we are inspired by the story of the Good Samaritan to help our neighbours, both locally, nationally and globally. During a visit to South Africa, Rev Michelle visited a mission which helps new mothers. Many new mothers arrive at the mission in need of basic provisions for their newborn babies.
Next week, head of this mission outreach, Ghila is visiting Ripon. The school would like to support the work of Ghila's mission. We are asking for donations of good quality pre-loved baby clothes (birth to 6 months). Ghila will collect these and take them back to South Africa. Please bring any clothes you can donate to school by Wednesday 25th October.
There was some fabulous mathematical learning taking place across the Federation this morning (children and adults!). The feedback from our Maths Open Morning has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to all those families who joined us!
Congratulations to Wensley! The first class to fill their Jar of Joy! The class have voted to enjoy an apparatus session!
Thank you to parents for their generous Harvest gifts. The Ripon Food bank is extremely grateful for your donations which will be distributed to local families. The Harvest Festival was such a wonderful celebration! We were so proud of those children who led the service; their confidence and the way they supported one another reflected the ethos of Team Trinity.
