On Friday 7th November we were proud to attend the Festival of Remembrance for North Yorkshire's Service Children. The service was held at Ripon Cathedral for children across North Yorkshire who have a parent who serve in local regiments. We reflected on the symbol for Service Children, which is the dandelion. Dandelions put down roots almost anywhere, they are hardy and upright, a survivor in a broad range of climates.  As military children we bloom everywhere the wind carries us. We know that home is where our hearts are and that a good friend can be found in any corner of the world.
