We are delighted that you are exploring our school as a starting point for your child's learning journey. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School and to welcome you to our community.

Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School is located on the outskirts of the cathedral city of Ripon. Ripon is a cathedral city steeped in history and home to magnificent historical buildings and long-observed traditions. The city is proud of its ecclesiastical heritage, which is entwined with the church, both due to the cathedral in the city centre and its proximity to the nearby Fountains Abbey. Ripon has a rich military history; many pupils who attend the school are from military families. Our school has a unique place at the heart of our city. The school is representative of the emerging diversity within the city.  We have twenty-three different languages represented in our school. Every child is recognised as a unique individual at Holy Trinity. We celebrate and welcome the differences within our school community.

Reception starters 2026 Welcome morning is on Wednesday 17th June. Information has been sent out to our prospective parents. If you have not received an email, please contact the school or see the attachments below with some useful information about starting school.

For children who will be joining our Reception year in September 2027, including those who have attended our on-site nursery, will need to apply for a place via the Local Authority admissions process – please click here.

16 Apr 2027 - National Offer Day

1 May 2027 onwards – will consider late applications
