Holy Trinity CE Primary is a two-form entry school and part of the Leeds Diocesan Learning Trust, which acts as the admissions authority. The school admits 30 pupils per year group in Reception through Year 3, and 60 pupils per year group in Years 4 through 6.

Children join Reception in the September after their fourth birthday. Parents may request to defer entry until later in the school year, or until the child reaches compulsory school age (the start of the term after their fifth birthday).

Applications must be submitted through the Local Authority using the common application form by the published deadline. While the Local Authority coordinates place allocations and notifies parents, the Trust is responsible for applying the admissions and oversubscription criteria.

Admission of children outside their normal age group  

Parents may request a place outside their child's normal age group. For example, if a child has experienced significant ill health. Decisions are made in the best interest of the child, based on each case's circumstances, the Headteacher's view, and any supporting evidence provided.

Our admissions procedures are fair, objective, and fully compliant with the School Admissions Code. As part of our statutory process, the Trust consults regularly with the Diocese of Leeds, the Local Authority, local schools, and the wider community.
