Zone Rangers

We have successfully launched this year's Zone Rangers!

During our play times at Holy Trinity, we ‘Play Safe and Stay Safe’. The role of our Zone Rangers is to provide a range of fun and engaging play time activities, in a variety of ‘Zone Ranges’ that allow the children to embrace their physical, artistic and social development. Our Zone Ranges transform our playground into organised and inclusive spaces by establishing distinct zones of play.

The Zone Rangers are responsible for planning and organising activities that are aimed at all children. The children then have the opportunity to spend playtimes with their peers from all classes and year groups and, in doing so, build upon their friendship groups and sense of community at school.

Just some of the Zone Ranges organised by the children include arts, skipping, hoops, netball, ‘chill and chat’, cricket, large brick construction and throwing and catching. Within each of the Ranges, the Zone Rangers have a dedicated supply of equipment for the children to access, which they rotate to give a variety of playtime experiences.

At the end of each week, during our Praise Worship, our very own ‘Holy Trinity Zone Ranger Power Cards’ are presented to those children who go above and beyond in showing safe and responsible play.

Throughout the year, the Zone Rangers change to allow as many children as possible the opportunity to have a pupil responsibility. Say hello to some of our current Zone Ranger bunch!
