Spa Class
Welcome to Spa Class!
Our Spa Class is taught by Miss Hayden and supported by Mrs Chalmers, Miss Tiffany, Miss Clark, Miss Mulholland, Miss Elsy and Miss Turner.
In Nursery, we spend the majority of our time learning through play. Children can access both the indoor and outdoor environments freely. Staff are always there to support children's play and help to develop their learning.
We have short carpet times when children spend time listening to stories, practising their speaking and listening skills, and participating in maths and phonic learning activities.
Spa Class Daily Routine

| 08:30 - 08:40 | Spa Class opens – children, parents and carers are welcomed into the session. |
| 08:40 - 09:10 | Children to access classroom. |
| 09:10 - 09:35 | English or Maths adult-led learning. |
| 09:35 - 11:00 | Child-initiated learning/small group learning. |
| 11:00 - 11:10 | Dance and movement session. |
| 11:10 - 11:30 | Phonics adult-led learning. |
| 11.30 | Home time for morning Nursery session; story, song, prepare for lunch. |
| 11:40 - 12:15 | Lunch Time and Play Time. |
| 12:15 - 12:15 | Afternoon Nursery session drop off. |
| 12:45 - 13:00 | English or Maths adult-led learning. |
| 13:00– 14:40 | Child-initiated learning/small group learning/ afternoon children's phonic session. |
| 14:50 - 15:05 | Story Time. |
| 15:15 | Home Time. |
Home school communication, both to celebrate the good things and tackle any problems or concerns, is essential in ensuring the very best education for your child. Parents, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Hayden via admin@htceschools.co.uk
As part of our whole school commitment to wellbeing there is no expectation on our staff to read or answer emails sent between 6pm and 8am in the week, or any at weekends or holidays. Should your email not receive a reply, this is not a case of being impolite but one of choosing wellbeing ahead of workload.
